The origin of “Refosco” is lost in the mists of time: from the Romans (red Pucino), to the Middle Ages (Refosco wine), to today (from Refosco grape), it is a varietal historically linked to Friuli.
It is the wine that identifies the Friulian people: frank, direct and, at the same time, a surprising sweetness.
Crafted from a very special parcel of ancient vines on the estate, this highly limited release must be tasted to be believed.
Tasting Note: Intense notes of mulberry, blueberry, cassis and dried plum blend with the sweet and fresh sensations of spices (cloves, black pepper), vanilla and balsamic hints. An exciting and intriguing expression of character and personality. Generous, broad, almost fleshy in its consistency. Fine tannins that are never intrusive or coarse.
