A true masterpiece from an exceptional vintage, the 2016 Château La Dominique showcases the rich heritage and outstanding terroir of this Grand Cru Classé estate.
The 2016 vintage is crafted from hand-harvested grapes, sorted with precision to highlight the best of the estate’s Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented in stainless steel vats for optimal temperature control, the wine was aged for 14 months – 60% in new oak barrels and 40% in one-wine barrels – allowing for a perfect balance of fruit, structure, and elegance.
Pairing Suggestions: Perfect with roasted lamb, duck breast, mushroom risotto, or aged Comté.
Tasting Note: Rich and full-bodied with layers of black fruits, soft tannins, and a hint of minerality, this wine offers exceptional depth and a long, elegant finish.
