Château Angludet 2015 is a Margaux of exceptional pedigree, crafted by the Sichel family. Its elegance, aromatic finesse, and remarkable ageing potential make it a standout choice for collectors and enthusiasts seeking refined Bordeaux character.
Thanks to the Sichel family’s restoration efforts, this cru now rivals top Margaux estates. The 2015 blend showcases both power and finesse; an ideal purchase for those seeking Bordeaux depth at a compelling price point.
Winemaking: Harvested in September 2015, the grapes were vinified traditionally in cement vats with vatting lasting 20–30 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged for 12 months in oak barriques (one-third renewed each year). It was fined with egg whites and lightly filtered before being bottled in spring 2017.
Pairing Suggestions: Roasted rack of lamb with thyme and garlic, beef bourguignon, aged Comté or Reblochon cheese, mushroom risotto.
Tasting Note: Deep ruby colour. Nose opens to cassis, blackberry, violet and spice with subtle oak. On the palate it is supple yet structured, with fine tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering finish of black fruit and mineral nuances.
