Germar Breton’s 2015 Millésime is a distilled essence of an exceptional vintage, inviting collectors and celebrants to buy affordably luxurious vintage Champagne, for a moment of pure discovery.
What makes this truly special is its extra-brut dosage (3 g/L), which lets the wine’s citrus and brioche aromas speak unfiltered, while its extended lees ageing adds a spicy depth. A Champagne to buy for its rarity and its promise of ageing potential.
Winemaking: Each bottle comes from a single harvest of 100% Chardonnay, hand-picked from clay-limestone parcels. The juice is drawn only from the first press – the “cœur de cuvée” – then crafted using méthode traditionnelle of gentle pressing, wild-yeast fermentation in stainless steel, eight years on lees, then a final élevage in bottle before release.
Pairing Suggestions: Shellfish starters or supreme of poultry with mushroom sauce
Tasting Note: Bright gold with intense bubbles, it opens with lemon zest and clementine, evolving to brioche, pineapple and mango, finishing with a whisper of spice.
Origin: Côte des Bar, Champagne, France
Alcohol: 12.5%
Blend: Chardonnay
