Tenuta San Guido stretches over 2,500 hectares, but for their most iconic wine, they only use the vineyards in a small area: DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia.
It is unique in terms of soil type, microclimate, and exposure, hence its special status.
Tasting Note: “This is rich and round with beautiful berry and chocolate aromas and flavours. Full-bodied, with very polished and soft tannins. It’s long and caressing. Gorgeous already, but just a beautiful baby now. Best after 2015.” – James Suckling 95 points
Origin: Bolgheri, Italy
Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
