Tasting Note

Crisp, linear and with gentle hints of rich tea biscuit, lemon and grapefruit pith and a delicacy that is superbly balanced. Drink now for a lovely aperitif, but hold it for a number of years and it is going to fatten out, become rich and nutty and will be a fabulous Champagne to drink with food.

Producer

In 1932 Gilberte & André Jacques settled in Baye, in the Côte des Blancs. Gilberte takes over the village’s cafe while André continues his agricultural activities and decides to plant our first vineyard there. In 1962 Gisele & Yves Jacques continued to expand the estate and invested in the first press, a vat house and a cellar. The first bottles of the Champagne Yves Jacques brand were finished a few months later. In 1982 Valérie & Rémi took over the family business.
