The Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes were hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed, with approximately 12% of the blend being fermented in old white Burgundy barrels. This blend is completed with 2% of Pinot Précoce (having been vinified as a still red wine), giving this Rosé extra colour, body and flavour. The wine undergoes second fermentation in bottle and ageing on its lees for 37 months before disgorging with 9g/L dosage.
Tasting Note: This sophisticated rosé boasts a delicate pale pink hue. On the nose, vibrant red fruit notes of strawberries and raspberries are accented by a hint of pomegranate. The palate reveals a balance of pink grapefruit and sweet marshmallow, complemented by a slight earthy texture and a hint of sweet, fresh hay. The oak element adds a creamy touch to this luxurious and elegant rosé.
