Winemaker Guy Lyons aims to create wines which reflect his passion for high quality, cool climate fruit grown in Porongurup, Western Australia. The vines were planted in 1985 and are dry grown on ancient lateritic gravels on the family farm. The Riesling is aged on lees in concrete eggs for up to 6 months, giving it a textural, creamy mouthfeel. The Chardonnay is matured in oak for 12 months before further ageing in bottle. These small batch wines showcase the very best this Great Southern region has to offer, where wines are unfined and unfiltered to show expression of place.
