The only Caol Ila expression picked purely for its characteristically elegant flavour as opposed to any age-statement or barrel type. The Moch (meaning ‘Dawn’) has soft, creamy lemon citrus, sea-blasted dune grass, and a smokiness not unlike a smoky-bacon bap covered in butter! Deliciously elegant, a real gem from the Caol Ila range. If you’re new to Islay whiskies or peat in general, this would be a fantastic place to start.
