Clea was born in the harshest areas of Ribera del Duero and Rueda.
The Clea brand pays tribute to the brave women who dedicate their lives to the vineyard.
The winery and Fademur (the Federation of Rural Women’s Associations) have created the Clea Project to promote, through the “Clea Grant”, female entrepreneurship in rural Spain.
The fruit has been sourced from old, low-yield vineyards, selected in the highest and coolest areas of Ribera del Duero, the “páramos” of Burgos and Soria, and younger but still low-yield vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting Note: Characterized by distinct olfactory complexity and flavour nuances of ripe dark fruits, cocoa, spices and notes of smoke, this vintage displays exquisite balance, full-bodied texture and refined tannins. Well-developed acidity results in a velvety finish.
