Clos Saint André started out as a childhood dream for Jeremie Mourat. It began as a blank canvas on a historically rich wine-growing land previously owned by the Tattinger Family, and had laid under a thick covering of brambles and broom since 1968.
With its rich sub soil of meta-rhyolites, Clos Saint André is almost exclusively dedicated to the production of a full-bodied white wine.
Since 2007 the domaine’s focus has been on a selection of Negrette vines – an ancient black grape variety unique to the region.
Origin: Loire Valley, France
