Tasting Note

Regardless of the politics around them Domaine des Tourelles has produced a fantastic red. The aroma is reminiscent of morello cherries which is reinforced when you taste it. Add in cassis and you have a truly splendid wine with gentle tannin and a touch of spice on the finish.

Producer

Francois-Eugene Brun laid the foundation of what would become Domaine des Tourelles in 1868. One thing that makes this producer interesting now is where it was started, in Lebanon. A country which could only have experienced more problems in recent years if it had been attacked by an actual dragon.
