The Piersanti Winery was founded in 1955 by Giovanni Piersanti and his children, Silveria and Carlo. Today Carlo’s sons, Giuliano and Ottavio, run the winery.

In the beginning, the winery was no more than one room, where mostly sparkling wines were bottled as they were the most popular. The premises egan enlarging in the mid 80s when a modern warehouse was built, becoming the core of the business as it had a capacity of over 20,000 quintals of wine in stainless steel tanks. Over the years, the family have been able to demonstrate their competence and reliability along with a business philisophy based on the value of money, aiming to provide products of high quality but at a reasonable price.
