Based in Dizy, the family planted vines in 1746 but didn’t produce wines until 1935 when Ferdinand and ~Gaston Chiquet set up their own label. They have 22 hectares of vineyards in Ay, Mareuil-sur-Ay and Hautvillers and make 15,000 cases each year, mainly from Pinot Meunier, with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir doing the backing vocals.
