Lying between the villages of Pomerol and St-Emilion vineyards, Château du Haut Plateau has been family owned for three generations. The appellation of Montagne St-Emilion has developed a reputation for producing wines of exceptional value, offering similar characteristics to its famous neighbours, but at a substantially cheaper price. The 15 hectares of vineyards are perched on the hillside next to Château Montaiguillon, on a superb south-facing clay slope which optimises the available sunlight during the day while offering good drainage for the vines
