Logodaj Melnik has been one of the all-time Caviste hits. It’s a rare breed, in that it’s a red wine that everybody enjoys – no matter what.
The grapes are hand-picked in boxes from vineyards with controlled yields. Upon arrival at the cellar, a double sorting is carried out. Maceration and rapid fermentation take place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation and aging for 10 months take place in 225 l French oak barriques. After bottling, the wine ages for another 3 months before being released on the market.
Tasting Note: Rich, soft spiced berry notes and a very classical feel, Aged in French oak for 12 months, evolved yet lively with its bright berry and redcurrant notes.
