Much-loved Speyside distillery Glenrothes is captured in all its fruity, honeyed goodness in this 25-year-old release from independent bottler, Fruitful Spirits. It was drawn from refill hogshead number 832, which yielded just 99 bottles. Round, rich and full-flavoured, it’s a fun yet elegant single malt, bursting with tropical fruit, marmalade, toasted oak and cocoa notes. Bottled direct from the cask, with no added colour or chill-filtration.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Honeycomb, stewed fruits, orange marmalade, vanilla pod and a touch of light tropical fruit

Palate: Full and rounded with baked apple, sultanas, citrus peel, silky malt, vanilla cream and gentle tropical notes

Finish: Long and warming, with honeyed malt, soft oak, dried fruits and a hint of cocoa
