Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 58.3% 70cl

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 58.3% 70cl

Love a heavily peated Campbeltown single malt? Us too. Which is handy, because the fourteenth batch of Kilkerran Heavily Peated has landed on the warehouse shelves! Distilled at Glengyle and peated to around 45ppm, it’s been aged in predominantly ex-bourbon casks, with a splash of sherry-matured stocks vatted in for good measure. Zesty, bold and powerful with a whole heap of smoke, this is a remarkably complex, incredibly lively bottling.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Honeycomb, wholemeal toast, chargrilled seafood, smokey bacon.

Palate: Smoke, lemon shortbread, ham, melon.

Finish: Nicely balanced: Peat smoke, lemon zest, icing sugar and sweet buttery mouthfeel.
