Something very special indeed: the 2026 edition of Springbank’s Vintage Series has arrived! Aged for a minimum of 31 years, this bright, gorgeously expressive single malt was predominantly drawn from ex-bourbon casks (80%), with the remainder split evenly between ex-sherry and ex-red wine casks. The result of that vatting is 1,180 bottles of elegant, tropical fruit-driven Springbank, with that classic, signature aromatic earthiness. A remarkable whisky.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Tropical fruit, dried pineapple and mango. Ripe melons, honey. Earthy, “old school Springbank,” sandalwood.

Palate: Caramelised lemon meringue, custard cream, mago and pineapple, toffee popcorn.

Finish: Earthy, coconut, fresh basil, gorse bush.
