Fresh Craft Beer from Our Bottle Shop and Taproom:
Jet black and viscous, this Imperial Stout offers an immediate olfactory hit of toasted Philippines coconut and Madagascar vanilla beans. The aroma is heavy with roasted hazelnuts and buttery pecans, layering atop a base of dark chocolate and espresso-like roasted malt. On the palate, a thick, chewy texture carries deep flavors of coconut macaroons and praline. The malt provides a foundation of charred grain and black licorice, balancing the sugar from the nuts and vanilla. A firm hop bitterness and noticeable alcohol warmth emerge in the finish, cutting through the dense, cake-like weight. Every sip reveals further nuttiness against a backdrop of dark fruit esters and bittersweet cocoa.
