Producer
Château Le Pey has a total of 49 hectares of vines and is the oldest and most important property of the Compagnet family. The soil at Château Le Pey is made up of clay and limestone and the vineyards are planted with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. The terroir lends itself to the rich, earthy flavour of the wine and with 12 months’ ageing in French oak barrels (25% new).
