Casamigos Tequila Reposado is a highly regarded offering from the Casamigos brand, and it strikes a perfect balance between the fresh, crisp taste of a Blanco and the rich, complex notes of an Añejo.
Casamigos Reposado is aged for 7 months in American oak barrels, which is longer than a typical “young” tequila like the Blanco but not as long as an Añejo. This aging process gives it a smooth, balanced flavour with hints of oak, but without overpowering the agave’s natural sweetness.
Flavour Profile:
- Tasting Notes: The Reposado has a well-rounded flavour profile that combines the clean agave taste with subtle, mellow notes from the oak barrels. You’ll find a mix of vanilla, caramel, and honey, along with light hints of spice and toasted wood. The flavour is smooth and slightly smoky, with a balanced finish.
- Complex but Smooth: Thanks to the aging process, it has a smoother mouthfeel compared to the Blanco, while maintaining the essence of fresh agave flavour.
