Every sip coats the palate with the decadent weight of molasses and dark cocoa, followed by a lush wave of custardy vanilla. This sweetness is quickly cut by a sophisticated, fruit-forward smokiness, adding a balancing rugged depth to the beer.
The first whiff drowns the senses in campfire nostalgia, with a strong sense of a marshmallow held over a flame for just a second too long, with its corners starting to char, while its centre remains lush and gooey.
A pitch-black beer with a luscious tan head.
