Bodegas Alceño a family tradition winery since 1870 located in the middle of Jumilla, the oldest, being the first winery to market wines in Jumilla.
Crafted from older vines, this medium-bodied red stands out for its ripe black fruit intensity and fresh, lively acidity. Its naturally high tannins give structure without overpowering the palate, while the lack of oak ageing ensures pure, concentrated fruit expression. Perfect for tapas nights, roast dinners, or everyday enjoyment, it’s a dependable, food-friendly wine.
Tasting Note: Ripe black fruit aromas with subtle spice; medium-bodied and juicy on the palate, balanced by natural acidity and soft tannins, finishing with lingering freshness.
Pairing Suggestions: Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetable casseroles or mushroom paella for vegetarians; for meat lovers, try lamb chops, grilled sausages, or rich tomato-based pasta dishes. Works equally well with a selection of Manchego or cured Spanish cheeses.
