Another delicious wine from Ecker. This is from the fairly rare Roter Veltliner, a unique variety in its own right, and not related to Gruner Veltliner. This is a really lively, attractive example. White peach, lime, nettle, ripe green apple too on the nose. Zesty and tangy with almost a spritz. Stone fruits with lime zest, really uplifting with spice and good length. Absolutely delicious and on a damp, dank evening here, this wine is able to provide much relief!! Drink whilst young and so expressive.
