Few producers have captured this shift more clearly than Manuel Moraña, who founded Bodegas Fulcro as a garage project in 2009 in the village of Salnés in north-west Spain. From humble beginnings, he has quickly established himself as one of the region’s top producers; creating beautiful, site-specific, age-worthy cuvées defined by purity and salinity, deservedly drawing high praise from both critics and consumer.

 Sourced primarily from schist soils, it offers a lifted expression of delicate white stone fruit, with a palate that balances flesh and weight and a gentle waxy texture against striking precision and grippy Atlantic minerality. It fermented and matured in used 400- to 700-liter French oak barrels for 11 months
