This was a real hit at our Nals Margreid tasting in October. With Pinot Noir from Burgundy becoming so expensive this delicious wine from the Alto Adige starts to look fabulous value. Ok it’s not Burgundy but is a similar weight, has probably riper fruit and is in general a more fruit forward style, however, you still get some spice complexity, a hint of oak and some bramble notes. It’s extremely attractive with a lovely freshnes, and great with white meats, red meats etc.
