94pts, Tim Atkin MW
“After 17 years, I’m finally happy,” says Donovan Rall of this [Rall Red 2023] assemblage of Syrah, 17% Grenache, 8% Carignan and 4% Cinsault. Fermented with whole clusters, it has foudre, concrete and old wood components, aromas of black pepper, garrigue and rock salt, fine grained tannins and layers of fennel, blackberry and wild strawberry. 2027-32″
