This 2019 Brut Rosé from Mudita is a Cap Classique of restraint and radiance. Crafted from 54% Chardonnay and 46% Pinot Noir, it spent 60 months on lees to build its delicate texture and luminous depth.
Softly pink in hue, it opens with aromas of salted caramel and peach tart before revealing layers of red apples, spiced plum and ripe bramble. Finished with the lightest touch of cassis and a trace of brioche, it’s a rosé sparkling that whispers rather than shouts. Refined and quietly complex.
Winemaking: This low-sulphur release was made by traditional method with 60 months on lees. Disgorged in November 2024 and presented with low dosage added.
Pairing Suggestions: Serve with tuna tartare, duck rillettes, roasted beetroot salad or goats’ cheese crostini. A versatile rosé suited to aperitif or main course.
Tasting Note: Elegant salmon-pink with aromas of peach tart and salted caramel. On the palate, redcurrants, apple crumble and cassis linger on a creamy, fresh finish.
