This is a really attractive Nebbiolo from the Terre Alfieri DOCG in Piedmont. Floral perfumed nose.
“Just mid ruby. More austere and minerally than its Belgardo counterpart and with hints of iron and rhubarb. Cranberry and orange on a palate that displays great focus and length. Long, finely ground tannins pull up the long fruit finish, which is completely dry. Demonstrates that Terre Alfieri does seem to have an affinity for Nebbiolo. Definitely something for Barolo lovers.
