The 2021 Vernissage is a refined red blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon that offers mulberry, blackberry and floral notes with a smooth, balanced palate and inviting approachability.
At Holden Manz, Vernissage represents the estate’s artful blending philosophy. Selected blocks from cooler 2021 conditions that produced a wine of vibrant acidity and layered complexity, matured in a mix of new and seasoned oak to integrate tannins and elevate structure.
Vernissage stands out for its seamless interplay of three varietals, delivering a wine that is both elegant and expressive from release and through 7–10 years of ageing.
Pairing Suggestions: Roasted duck with berry jus, mushroom risotto or grilled venison medallions.
Tasting Note: A deep ruby in the glass with aromas of mulberry, blackberry and violet. The palate is smooth with dark fruit, floral undertones and a deft meaty note, finishing with fine, polished tannins.
