Grown on the shallow, south-east facing, granite soil, slopes of Cornas. The vineyard is roughly 450m above sea level which lends a delightful freshness to the wine.
The vinification is in oak barrels followed by a further 2 years in barrel prior to release.
“the 2019 Cornas has plenty of dark, earthy cassis and blackberry fruits as well as Asian spice and pepper notes. Nicely textured, medium to full-bodied, and concentrated, it should easily be an outstanding wine.” Jeb Dunnuck Feb 2022
