2020 Tsarev Brod Ice Riesling (Half)

The Tsarev Brod Ice Riesling is an amazing noble wine! Great balance between sweetnes and acidity!

The grapes used for the wine are harvested frozen in early December. The idea behind this technology is to have the water in the grapes freeze, followed by a slow process of pressing, by which only concentrated “grapes juice” is released. Slow 4 months fermentation followed by 12 months of old barrels aging.

Tasting Note: A golden dessert wine with hues of amber. The aroma comprises notes of fig jam, raisins, candied orange peel and quince. A wonderful balance of sweetness and acidity. A lingering finish, reminiscent of honey and acacia.
