The wine is produced by Chateau Cristi, a family-owned vineyard located in a designated ecological zone in southern Moldova, one of the world’s oldest winemaking regions. Owners Constantin and his brother-in-law Roman embrace a low-intervention philosophy, believing their wines should be a raw representation of the climate and terroir. The name ‘Jumi Juma’ roughly translates to ‘let’s go halves,’ a tribute to the spirit of sharing that is central to their community and their winemaking approach.
