Cucielo Rosso is an Italian vermouth, rooted in the traditions of Piedmont, a region known for its rich vermouth heritage. This red vermouth is crafted from a selection of botanicals, including herbs, roots, and spices, and is typically used as a base in classic cocktails like the Negroni or Manhattan.
The flavor profile of Cucielo Rosso features a delicate balance of sweetness and bitterness, with rich notes of vanilla, dried fruits, citrus peel, and warm spices such as cinnamon and cloves. The vermouth also has an herbal complexity, thanks to botanicals like wormwood and gentian, giving it a slightly bitter finish.
Cucielo is also recognized for its eco-conscious production, with sustainability being a core value. It pairs well with premium spirits or can be sipped neat, on ice, or with a splash of soda.
