Mucchietto, Primitivo, 6x75cl

🍷 Mucchietto – Primitivo
Italy | Puglia | IGT Puglia | 100% Primitivo
Style: Still Red Wine
Winemaking: Fermented in stainless steel with controlled temperatures to preserve ripe fruit character, followed by gentle ageing to soften tannins and enhance the wine’s rich, expressive profile
Farming: Sourced from sun-drenched vineyards in southern Puglia, where warm days and cool nights ensure optimal ripeness and bold concentration in the fruit

🤌 A bold southern Italian red with attitude—rich, juicy, and unapologetically expressive.

👁 In the Glass:
Deep ruby with dark violet hues—dense and captivating.

👃 On the Nose:
Generous and inviting. Intense aromas of ripe blackberries, plum jam, and fig are layered with sweet spice, vanilla, and a whisper of dark chocolate.

👅 On the Palate:
Velvety and plush. Bursting with sun-ripened dark fruits and warm spice, the palate is round and mouthfilling, yet balanced by smooth tannins and a hint of freshness. The finish is long and indulgent with lingering notes of cinnamon and cocoa.

🍽 Food Pairing:
Delicious with grilled meats, rich pasta dishes like lasagne or orecchiette with sausage, or aged hard cheeses. A natural match for bold flavours.

⏳ Ageing Potential:
Ready to enjoy now for its bold fruit and spice, but will hold beautifully for 3–5 years if you prefer a mellower expression.

✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Mucchietto Primitivo isn’t shy—it’s full of character, flavour, and charm. A wine that makes a statement, just like the iconic Italian hand gesture it’s named after. Bold wine, bold personality.
