🌟 A single-vineyard Syrah from the heart of Crozes-Hermitage—dark, spicy, and elegantly powerful with a distinct sense of place.
👁 In the Glass:
Deep ruby with a garnet rim—concentrated and brooding.
👃 On the Nose:
Complex and expressive, revealing layers of blackberry, black olive, and cassis, followed by cracked pepper, smoked meat, violet, and a whisper of vanilla and clove from oak aging.
👅 On the Palate:
Full-bodied and finely structured, this wine delivers dark plum and brambly fruit, balanced by fresh acidity and finely grained tannins. Subtle earthy and savory notes—roasted herbs, tapenade, and leather—add complexity leading into a persistent, mineral-driven finish.
🍽 Food Pairing:
Ideal with roast lamb, venison, chargrilled ribeye, or mushroom and lentil stew. Also pairs beautifully with firm cheeses and spiced Mediterranean dishes.
⏳ Ageing Potential:
Enjoy now with decanting or cellar for 8–12 years as it evolves into a softer, more savory beauty.
✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Le Clos by Delas is a stunning expression of northern Rhône Syrah—concentrated yet lifted, refined yet deeply soulful. From a single, enclosed parcel in Crozes-Hermitage, it showcases the precision and power this historic appellation is capable of when given the spotlight.
