🌟 A sophisticated white Rioja—textured, elegant, and boldly reimagining tradition with a modern edge.
👁 In the Glass:
Pale gold with glints of amber—refined and luminous.
👃 On the Nose:
Intensely aromatic with notes of ripe golden apple, quince, and pear. Layers of toasted almond, smoky oak, and vanilla unfold with subtle hints of chamomile and spice.
👅 On the Palate:
Full-bodied and savoury with a creamy texture balanced by fresh acidity. Golden fruit and nutty richness mingle with fine oak, creating a palate of remarkable depth and poise. The finish is long, structured, and delicately spiced with a saline edge.
🍽 Food Pairing:
Perfect with roast chicken, monkfish, lobster in butter sauce, or creamy risottos. Its depth and elegance suit rich seafood and poultry dishes beautifully.
⏳ Ageing Potential:
Drinking beautifully now, but capable of evolving gracefully over 8–10 years, developing complex tertiary notes of honey, toast, and dried fruit.
✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Capellanía is Marqués de Murrieta’s bold and elegant take on white Rioja—where old-vine Viura meets French oak finesse. Rich, nuanced, and structured, it’s a white wine that challenges expectations and rewards careful attention. A true connoisseur’s choice.
