🍷 Al-Cantàra – O’Scuru Etna Rosso
Italy | Sicily | Etna DOC | Predominantly Nerello Mascalese with Nerello Cappuccio
Style: Still Red Wine | Winemaking: Traditional fermentation with gentle extraction, followed by ageing in oak barrels to add refinement, spice, and depth while maintaining the purity of high-altitude fruit
Farming: From volcanic vineyards on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, where old vines, lava-rich soils, and dramatic altitude yield wines of elegance, minerality, and tension

🌋 A refined Etna red—perfumed, silky, and volcanic in soul.

👁 In the Glass:
Pale ruby with garnet edges—luminous and graceful.

👃 On the Nose:
Fragrant and layered. Aromas of ripe forest berries are laced with hints of sweet spice, vanilla, and a gentle smoky undertone from the volcanic terroir.

👅 On the Palate:
Elegant and smooth. Silky tannins frame warm red fruit, subtle earth, and spice. A touch of oak enriches the texture without overwhelming, leading to a long, persistent finish that’s both lifted and grounded.

🍽 Food Pairing:
Perfect with roast pork, grilled swordfish, mushroom risotto, or Sicilian caponata. A versatile wine that pairs beautifully with both meat and Mediterranean vegetable dishes.

⏳ Ageing Potential:
Drinking beautifully now, with potential to evolve gracefully over the next 5–8 years.

✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Al-Cantàra O’Scuru is a true expression of Etna—perfumed, poised, and volcanic in character. A wine that speaks of place with elegance and authenticity in every sip.
