The nose opens with vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, redcurrant, plum, and brooding black fruit, accented by floral violet notes and a touch of savoury spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with fresh acidity and medium tannins, showing a supple yet broad texture. Aged in concrete, it delivers clarity and depth, with hints of dried fruit and earthiness on the persistent finish.
“The young red 2024 LZ was produced with a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha from organically farmed vines. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in small concrete tanks for 15 days and matured in those concrete tanks for six to seven months. They got 50% less grapes than in 2023. This is very primary, young and fruit-driven, with a juicy mouthfeel and velvety tannins. ” 92+ Luis Gutiérrez The Wine Advocate
