A well priced and tasty Malbec from just outside Limoux. The grapes get the heat of the day, but being at altitude in the Pyrenees foothills benefit from the cooler nights allowing longer ripening of the grapes. Bright red and black berry fruits on an attractive nose yet quite soft finish. Food versatile having the weight to go with robust dishes, but also bright, juicy and easy drinking so think pizza pasta etc.
